Description
The "grace and gârce" project, developed as part of the ZHdK module "Reactive Signs" at the University of Zurich, explores the nuanced meanings and implications of the words "grace" and "garce." With "grace" symbolizing elegance and beauty in French and "garce" carrying connotations of rudeness and vulgarity in French, the project delves into the duality of language and perception. Through an interactive visual representation showcased at the "Digital Planet" exhibition at the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich, viewers are invited to contemplate the contrast between these two terms and reflect on how language shapes our understanding of concepts. By engaging with the digital posters, participants are encouraged to consider the complexities of communication and interpretation in public spaces.
